Clean restrooms, warm-water rinse stations, available local ice, and a 24-hr snack-shack are available for your camping comfort. We also have free internet access. No, you can choose to show up the day you want to camp and we will find you an open camping spot, in most cases. Though we do strongly encourage advanced reservations as it ensures you have your choice of the best location(s) possible for you and your group. It makes the check-in process much smoother and faster as well.
No, we offer dry camping options only at this time. Though you have access to non-potable water bibs for rinsing off, you will want to be sure to bring plenty of fresh water for drinking and washing any dishes.
No, dogs and pets of any kind are not allowed at Windy Point Park. Dogs will not be allowed into the park.
Glass containers of any kind are strictly prohibited and you will be asked to leave should you bring them in. Another item to leave at home is your fishing gear and spear guns. Divers and hooks/glass just do not mix well and we strive to provide a safe environment for all.
Yes! In fact, we encourage them. They must be contained in one of our fire pits. Bring your s'mores supplies (or buy our kit for ease) and let the fun times begin! We allow contained camp fires year round for our campers... after all, what is camping without a campfire?
Yes! be sure to plan and bring in your favorite meals and beverages to add to your experience. We have community access charcoal BBQ Grills that you can use for cooking. Just be sure to NOT bring any glass containers into the park as those are prohbited.
